As you can clearly see, the job was pretty straightforward. I cut the stock tip off the original muffler. The muffler was then cut off the other end of the pipes, and tossed in a box for safekeeping. The rest of the exhaust was then mounted in the car, so the 2 'bypass' pipes could be mocked up. After they were welded into position, the same was done with tip. To finish up, a couple brackets were made from flat stock, bent to fit the stock muffler hanger location, and we buttoned it all up. What a difference!
