Download Championship Freecell for Windows 95/NT


Championship Freecell may be downloaded off our web site for playing on your computer. The basic version is available for free, and has help files, game-posting capabilities and most game features. (Freecell Gold is our deluxe version of the game which offers more features. It comes free with the purchase of our Gold Subscription.)

To download and install Championship Freecell:

 1. Use Explore to create a new directory to store your Championship Freecell files in.

2. Download the appropriate version for your system by clicking on the hyperlink at the top of this page. You'll need Windows 95 or NT. Next, specify the directory you created in step #1 and click on save to begin the transfer.

3. When the transfer is complete, go to Explore and find the file cf_free.exe in your Championship Freecell directory. Double click on the file in order to uncompress it. When this is completed, there will be three additional files in the directory. Double click on Cf32free.exe to bring up the Championship Freecell application.

To start playing:

 If you have not already registered, please do so. You will need the license ID and code that are emailed to you when you register*.  Just click here to go to our Registration Form. It's simple and free.

1. The first time that you run Championship Freecell on your computer, you will be asked for your license ID and code that was emailed to you when you registered.

2. Check out the Competition Stats web page to find a sector you'd like to play in. Be sure it's a sector you're allowed to play in. For now, everyone starts off as a beginner. As you post winning games, you will automatically be qualified to play in more advanced sectors. You may always check your player page for the current status of your ranking.

3. To compete with other players you play Freecell games on your own computer, and then upload your scores to our web site.

* Every downloaded copy of Championship Freecell has its own license ID. This lets the site identify you when you upload winning game solutions. You get a license ID and validation code for free via Email when you register. If you forget them, you may request that they be remailed to you via the Player Services Form.
