Championship Freecell

Quick Start

(Note: Freecell Gold players, please use the instructions mailed with your software.)

1. Register via our Registration and Account Services page. It's free!

2. Download your free copy of the Championship Freecell software.

3. Check out the various sectors and groups via the Competition Stats link on the site. If you're a beginner, you may want to pick a sector that is only open to the beginners. There's always at least one such sector. Within your sector, pick a group with unplayed games, or one with games that look easy to beat.

4. Use your Championship Freecell software to try to beat the current holders of games within that group by using fewer free cells or fewer card-moves.

5. When you get a better solution to a game than the one currently posted, upload your improved solution (see File | Post Best Scores in application files) and you'll become the new game holder for that game. Win enough games and you can take the leader or lieutenant position within the group. From there you can go on to try to take over the president or vice-president positions in the sector.
